Costco is known for their oversized walk-in fridges, freezers and incredibly sizeable open display units.

Since costs related to refrigeration account for one of the highest operating expenses of most large retail stores — the prospect of saving on electricity, maintenance and repairs was one that appealed to Costco.

Klimer upgraded the Brentwood store's controls and monitors, including floating head pressure controls, floating suction controls and controller set-point commissioning.

Other efficiency upgrades were performed, including new compressors on each suction group.

The results were higher than expected. A 42% increase in annual savings totalling over $65,000 each year.
